Federation Information

FEDERATION DECISION

29th November 2017

Following a period of consultation and due diligence, the governing boards of Holy Trinity CofE Infants School & Nursery and Holy Trinity CofE Junior School have voted to form a federation. This means that the two schools will have one governing board. This will come into effect as soon as parent and staff governor elections and other procedures have been completed by late January.  Governors are confident that the federation will enhance the provision that the two schools can provide for all the children in our community.

Parent Governor Elections

The existing two Governing Boards of the schools have agreed to establish a Federation. This means that the two schools will have one Governing Board rather than two and this will come into effect towards the end of January 2018.

We are writing to let you know that there are two vacancies for parent governors on the new Governing Board. The candidates can be parents at either or both schools.  There is one election to choose the two parent governors, with parents from both schools taking part in this single election.

Some key information can be found in the letter and supporting documents below about the roles. We are very excited about this new chapter for the schools and very much value the role parent governors can play in this:
