Your child may choose to have a school meal or a packed lunch from home. School meals are currently provided free of charge by North Yorkshire County Caterers for infant school aged children. The menu is updated termly and operates on a three week rota basis and can be viewed by clicking on this link.
Milk is available at school every day at a cost of 22p per day (£15 per term). If you would like your child to have milk, this is to be paid termly using Parentpay or by cash (in a named envelope) to the school office. Children under the age of 5 are entitled to free milk, however we are always grateful for contributions which will be used to benefit the children. We require payment to commence the term after children turn five, however if you are in receipt of certain benefits you may be entitled to free milk. (Click the link for further information). We have application forms in the school office.
We ask that children bring a named water bottle to school, which will be sent home each evening for cleaning and refilling.
Fruit is provided for all children on a daily basis. This is usually eaten in the classroom during the morning.
